These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Maison Viven website, online store, content, products, features and related services (collectively, the “Services”). Maison Viven LLC (“Maison Viven,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the store. Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer products and Services to you.
By visiting the website, placing an order, creating an account, submitting information, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to the policies incorporated by reference below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and Use of the Services
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. By using the Services, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, or that you are using the Services with the authorization of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law.
You may not misuse the Services, interfere with their security or operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape or exploit content in violation of applicable law, or use the Services to infringe the rights of Maison Viven or any third party.
2. Products and Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, materials, dimensions, colors, images and other information accurately. Leather is a natural material, and variations in grain, tone, texture, markings and patina can occur. Display settings can also affect how colors appear on screen.
For products identified as being in development, prototype specifications, materials, dimensions, hardware, construction and finishing details may change before final production. The information shown on the product page at the time of purchase forms part of the applicable product description.
3. Availability, Pricing and Errors
Product availability may change without notice. A product displayed on the website is not guaranteed to be available until an order is accepted. We may correct typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product information, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, availability or other content.
Prices are shown in the currency indicated on the website or at checkout. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, duties or other charges will be disclosed or calculated as required at checkout. We do not use false scarcity or intentionally misleading availability claims.
4. Orders and Acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the products in your cart. Receipt of an order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted the order. We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including for suspected fraud, payment issues, pricing or inventory errors, shipping restrictions, or other circumstances that prevent lawful fulfillment.
If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, we will issue an appropriate refund to the original payment method. Orders may be cancelled by the customer until fulfillment begins. Once an order has been fulfilled or shipped, the applicable return process applies.
5. Payment
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate billing and payment information. Payment processing may be provided by Shopify, Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, card networks, financial institutions or other authorized payment providers. Your use of third-party payment services may also be subject to their terms and privacy notices.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Order processing times, shipping methods, estimated delivery times, international shipping information and related charges are described in our Shipping & Returns page and in the options presented at checkout. Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by carriers, customs, weather, service disruptions and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
For international orders, import duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees or other destination-country charges are the recipient’s responsibility unless collected at checkout.
7. Returns, Refunds and Damaged Items
Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery if they meet the conditions stated in our Shipping & Returns policy. Ordinary return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, and Maison Viven does not charge a restocking fee. Personalized or customized items are final sale unless they arrive damaged, defective or incorrect.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after returned merchandise is received and inspected. Original expedited shipping charges are non-refundable. These Terms do not limit any non-waivable consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law.
8. Accounts and Account Security
If account functionality is available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.
9. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the website and its content, including Maison Viven names, trademarks, logos, product names, product designs, photographs, text, graphics, journal content, layout and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Maison Viven and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may access and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping and informational purposes. No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, published, sold, commercially exploited or used to create derivative works without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

If you submit reviews, comments, photographs, suggestions or other content to Maison Viven, you represent that you have the right to submit that material and that it does not violate applicable law or third-party rights. We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing or otherwise inappropriate.
